Uncle Steve, as he's affectionately known. An outstanding drummer, he is also a proficient guitar player, and has been known to tickle the ivories (among other things) from time to time. Steve has played in so many various bands in the past, and has been playing drums for so long, that the dinosaurs probably heard him play. Along with Dave, with whom he's played in previous bands, he forms the solid rhythmic basis upon which the sound of the band depends and is built. Additionally, he's often the antagonist of some of the band's "quirkier" choice's in material, as well as an active contributor to the musical arrangements. As with the rest of the Morningwoods, he also sings lead and backing vocals.

When not performing, Steve likes cooking naked, golfing naked, and long romantic walks in the moonlight (naked...of course).
