The Rippers were a brief band project during a temporary leave of absence from the Morningwood Brothers for Uncle Steve Doman. Essentially being The Morningwood Brothers with the talented and affable Mark Vaccaro stepping onto the drum thrown in place of Steve, they are represented here with these demo recordings, some of which are unique to this particular band lineup.
Eventually Harvey & Jeff would put the electrified band format on hold to pursue their acoustic ambitions with the formation of King Lightnin', spelling the end of The Rippers, with The Morningwood Brothers reforming some time afterwards.
